DEATH ON THE ROAD - DVD UPDATE

We have been investigating the few player specific issues that have been reported. We have performed numerous extensive and exhaustive tests with both the help of EMI and their manufacturing facilities ; the companies who originally performed the encoding ; and also the designers of the software used during the entire process.

These very thorough investigations have been very time consuming as we have tried to to determine and locate where the possible player issues
have arisen.

The issues have been difficult to find owing to the random nature of reports and problems occuring with different makes of players in different parts of the world.

Many territoies have reported no problems at all, while the returns of DVD's at retail shops in the UK represent less than 1% of all the DVD's sold there.

We are now confident that the problem area has been identified and we are working all out to rectify this in order to arrange for replacement DVD's to be manufactured, fully tested and made available to those people who have experienced playback difficulties.

We will keep you updated and inform you shortly as to how and when the few of you who we are aware of having experienced compatibility problems will be able to exchange your DVD's with an updated version, and thank you for your valued support and understanding during this very frustrating time for us all.
